one week into work.
im still alive. but busier.
counting down 4 weeks to cny aka long-awaited rest from 12-day-in-a-row shoot.
i cant wait.
DAY TWO: 24/12/09
after the previous overnight, we reached our hotel at 4am and slept till 6am.
went down to take the bus at 7am.
where our favourite 87D awaits.
macs breakfast at hung hom mtr station.
hung hom mtr station later became one of our usual hangouts during this trip.
the breakfast is cheap!
and nice!
soon we headed to our MOST frequented location of the trip.
hkc in the day. mi's banner in the day.
about 8am and only 3 people in the queue. so we took some photos.
the hk skyline that we never got to see during this trip.
luckily i saw it when it was clearer a few years back.
i have been to the coliseum! (for 11 days)
at 8.15am we went to sit down in the queue (and officially in the queue).
stoned, made phone calls, read Happy Men magazine 3 times, played 2-player daidee, stress, chatted.
until one fan in front asked us whether he could join us in daidee.
haha so we (4-5 newfound friends but i only know the name of 2 friends) started playing daidee from 11am.
好不容易 lasted till lunchtime and the 3 girls (ie. us) went for lunch at maxims at hung hom mtr.
and we came back from lunch at 1pm and omg there was another 6 more hours to go!
self explanatory.
so we really played daidee for 5 hours.
unbelieveable.
in between germaine and i took turns to rest and i read stephanie's 2 magazines twice.
at about 5 plus stephanie went to wait for mi for the praying session. there were a lot of people squeezing so we didnt go.
at 6plus the staff started setting up the barricades and we were relocated near to the olympic rings area.
old men and geeky guys started selling lightsticks. hahah my lightsticks are nicer lor.
7pm!!! finally could fill in the form for the souvenirs. finally everyone was awake after all that queueing amidst the morning cold, afternoon blazing hot sun and evening chill.
too bad the hello mi was limited and only one per person.
but anyway we bought ohmytian 1 tee 1 towel 2 hello mi 2 bracelets 3 white normal watches 3 black bling watches 4 posters SIX boxsets. and that is for the first day. not including items that were bought in the next few days.
omg i carried the 6 boxsets off the counter and the photogs kept taking my photos so throw face.
the freaking queue after we lugged our items out of the queue. we were i think number 10 or 11 in the queue.
our loot! four bags! luckily we brought big foldable bags coz we knew they didnt provide plastic bags.
my poor agnes b voyage had to endure the weight on its second day of usage.
the next thing to settle was the tickets.
couldnt find the so-called booth to collect. luckily i found other fans who needed to collect the tickets and we went to wait for the reps to arrive.
collected the 9 tickets and omg the beginning of the excitement.
our tickets for 24th.
and off we went into the coliseum!
first concert watched in hkc and we were super duper excited.
we were at yellow gate for first show.
our pink lightsticks. pink lightsticks was the decided colour for the concert.
and very soon the coliseum was filled to the brim! excitement and anticipation. damn cool. no such scenario in singapore.
wahahaha. first show first time must take photos. next few days hardly take photos.

you'd think i would start snapping non-stop.
but i didnt.
coz we went totally wild and forgot to take photos.
first show's guest was crappy LAU so that was the only downside.
other than that, Mi was AWESOME on the first show!!!
her voice was so much better in Love Mi than Show Mi, and the outfits were very pretty!
my favourite segment was the disco medley.
so yeah, i only took photos of Mi in her first outfit and after that i went crazy. so here are the photos.
not to worry i took photos during the next few shows. but from 25th onwards i took more videos and my videos are so much nicer! need to invest in a better camera.
after the show we initially wanted to wait for Mi outside yellow gate. but we were lugging the loot and was super duper heavy. (6 heavy boxsets machiam carry bricks)
so we took a cab back. yay i love hk taxis they have no midnight charge. and since our hotel was so near it was about HK20 for the ride.
so bushed but really worth it. while in the hotel we were admiring our loot while watching Forensic Heroes II on tv.
but very soon we fell asleep.
2 days in hk and we only slept 2 hours.
record breaking.
and that was the end of day two.

sigh i have to dig them myself.
cny please come quick i am deprived of mahjong.
and i finally opened my Love Mi items after returning from hk. previously i havent touched them due to laziness and then due to being busy.
but i read that some fan's boxset totally crushed into pieces so i freaked out and opened my boxset at an instant.
safe and sound. phew.
took out the watches to check. all okay. haha thats all i opened. i havent touched the towel and badge and hello mi and posters and photos and cds and magazines and whatnots. my cupboard is bursting and papa said i need to get another cupboard. 太夸張啦！
okayz will update the remaining 10 days soon.
finished editing the videos from 25th, i still have 8 days of videos untouched. the essence of the trip! haha.

okay now for hong kong.
DAY ONE: 23/12/09
changi's transit area is becoming boring.
nothing to do inside.
and they changed my favourite T1 macs into burger king!
i remember that was where i emo-ed during meal breaks while i was still working at the airport...
but anyways.
the flight to hk was the newer plane and it had games and songs and movies.
happy when i saw this! then halfway into the first song the announcement came and after that, i couldnt hear any cd tracks from my earphones. but tv shows and movies were alright.
so after the glitch i played mahjong and i kept winning so i was bored.
then watched simpsons and magic kitchen.
and arrived in hk!
waited for the airport transfer, and tried the sim card that kennise lent me.
couldnt work. bah.
so had to use roaming.
called the lightsticks guy fatt-gei to tell him i would be late.
reached hotel, checked in, threw luggage aside.
PS. when i arrived, i had 1 wheeled luggage, 1 hand carry luggage, and my own bag.
since we had dinner on the plane, we skipped dinner altogether and rushed to jordan mtr to meet fatt-gei's wife to get the lightsticks.
she waited 1 hour and i felt super guilty. should have arranged to meet at 11pm instead of 10pm.
lightsticks were pretty! i actually prefer the crystalled design over the sand design coz the sand design doesnt seem bright enough.
and omg in general, having words on lightsticks is hideous.
dumped lightsticks in hotel and went to coliseum.
initially we already planned to queue overnight for the souvenirs, so we went to see if there was a queue.
took bus 87D, which would later become our favourite bus because we practically took this bus every single day.
reached there, no queue in sight. how?
saw some fans camwhoring.
so since we were there, first time somemore, we took a tour outside the coliseum to familiarise ourselves.
when we walked past the blue gate, a familiar music was heard.
煞科!!!
omg suddenly got excited coz we heard Mi rehearsing!!!
so damn cool.
then we got really excited and didnt want to leave. even though no queue.
so we waited outside yellow gate for Mi. music never stopped.
people kept walking in and out, and the night breeze was chilling.
many fans came and went, most of them couldnt keep themselves awake and kept whining about them falling asleep any moment.
so we waited all the way, from 11:30pm to 3:30am.
and Mi finally came out after finishing her supper. waved, smiled and entered van, and left.
all within 30 seconds, and we waited for how long?
but still it was super thrilling to see Mi in hk for the first time.
i know the photo is dark like nothing. therefore from then on, i took videos when waiting for Mi. mwahahaha.
so end of day one, all bushed like nothing. cabbed back and slept for 2 hours before starting yet another hectic day.

tired and tomorrow start work so must rest early.
after coming back from hong kong, i slept like a pig.

did housework,
facebook the day away,
Mi updates.
tuesday was guanyue gathering.
even though only 9 of us turned up.
but still, we had our budget fun.
got the genting stuffs confirmed.
super duper expensive but i hope it wont screw up like last time.
yesterday celebrated mich's belated birthday.
drank a teeny weeny glass of fruitade sparkling,
and omg within 2 hours my face turned lobster red.
so weird to take photos when all had normal looks but im the only red face. and i wasnt even drunk to start with.
puayleng downed 3 large mugs of erdinger and she almost puked.
went grandparents' house to give them the souvenirs and to visit.
today is the last day to enjoy before i start work tomorrow.
next holiday: chinese new year! come quick quick. i need the holiday and the money.
next post above will be hong kong. that will come soon, after i finished uploading 160 photos to my photobucket.
i actually took 500+ photos but i cant be bothered to upload all.
the videos are nicer. ;) haha.
see how lor videos should take a longer time coz i need to edit a bit and add credits.
